Western Way RV Resort, a 55+ resort in Tucson, Arizona, has five restaurants, a bank, a post office, a service station, a grocery store, a doughnut shop, beauty & barber shops and other stores conveniently located across the street from our resort.
There are many attractions very close to our resort. Although we are located in the Sonoran Desert, we have a great diversity of plants, animals, and scenic views. Just west on Kinney Road you will find Old Tucson Movie Studios with its movie sets and other attractions. You may spend many hours studying the unique plants, animals, and geology of Arizona and the Sonora Desert at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum.
There’s the Saguaro National Monument with its museum telling the story of the magnificent saguaro cactus. The White Dove of the Desert, San Xavier Mission is another of the many attractions that can be seen in Tucson.
The Tucson Mountain Park is within walking distance and affords hikers with many miles of desert exploration. Within an hour you can be in 10,000-foot mountains at Mount Lemmon and hike or ski. For information on current activities in our area, check out this Tucson Visitor page.
