Winter Activities

When the temperatures drop, our winter residents escape the cold by traveling south to Wekiva Falls. There’s nothing like having the ability to relocate your RV to a more pleasant climate. Hundreds of RVers pack up their lives and hit the road to escape from bitter temperatures and long, dark winter days.

We offer a ton of variety from getting outdoors to learning new crafts, playing games, and out of this world dances in order to please every guest. Check our calendar for details, as events are subject to change!

Staying Active

You can choose to join any of the events available at Wekiva Falls to keep you moving! We keep a season-long calendar of activities to get you outdoors, learning new crafts, playing fun games, and taking a variety of dance classes. There are walking clubs, pickleball classes, canoeing and kayaking along Wekiva River, shuffleboard classes & tournaments, pickleball classes & tournaments, or leisurely walks or bike rides on over 3 miles of paved roads throughout the park.

Food

The Magnolia Clubhouse features delicious LaMesa Donuts & RV Shows every Wednesday morning at 9 am, bi-monthly social potlucks (bring a dish to share and meet new friends), and an a la carte menu designed to cater to everyone. We also have food truck events that pop up throughout the season. Check our calendar for dates and details!

Themed Dances

One of our favorite events at Wekiva Falls RV Resort & Campgrounds is our bi-monthly themed dances. Our winter residents call it some of the best fun they’ve had in years. Our resident DJ keeps the fun going and many of our attendees dress up to match the theme. It’s a sight to behold. Themed Dances are posted a month in advance and always held on Saturday night so you will have plenty of time to plan accordingly!
